Lestat de Lioncourt

Since I made a portrait of Louis, it is just fitting that I also make one of Lestat!

Louis de Pointe du Lac

In the spirit of Halloween 2010, I felt inspired to paint my favorite vampire of all,
Louis de Pointe du Lac, played by Brad Pitt in Interview with the Vampire, my all-time favorite vampire movie.

My step by step process

Just want to share my personal step by step process for coloring my artworks.

Little Mermaid revisited

Just felt like 'revisiting' my Little Mermaid experience back in 2007-2008 when I was part of the animation team that worked on Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning.

I had fun doing this piece.

Wonder Woman part 2

My 2nd attempt at doing Wonder Woman from scratch!

I think I'm getting better. Still a long way from perfection, but I enjoy every step of the way!

Just a simple quick painting of Wonder Woman.
It took me me roughly an hour from start to finish.
Not bad, i think.

This is a storyboard for a 30-second teaser trailer for my highschool alumni grand reunion that would be held in 2012.
But this trailer would be shown on February 2011.

Just 'Loosening Up'......

Just a quick sketch/painting I did using Painter 11.
Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.

It's one of my ways of 'loosening up' my drawing hand.

"THOR / ODIN"

Just playing around what Thor would look like if he eventually replaces his father Odin.

"Test Drive"

Thought of 'test driving' the Corel Painter 11 just to get familiar with it's brushes and shortcuts.

Not bad, I think.

The Flash

Just trying out Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro on my new laptop.

A quick sketch is all it took.

random magazine illustrations

Did these illustrations for an editorial column for a local wedding magazine.
The editor just wanted clean lines and simple colors, so it's fairly easy to do.
Managed to finish these in 5 hours.

Not bad for a side gig.

Random doodles......

Well, the title says it all.

Kids' Magazine artwork

Here are some artworks I did for a kids' magazine that will hit the stands on June 2010.

These are actual people and the client wanted me to 'cartoonize' the kids to achieve a different look.

I had fun doing this. Took me almost 3 hours to finish everything, from rough 'pencils' to final color.
