My Barbarian

Just a quick sketch of my very own "barbarian" character.

Still pretty basic though, since I'm still trying to figure out how to push it more.

It's a slow Friday evening and I just so happen to be playing around with my Wacom tablet, so I just started 'doodling', and here's what came of it.

Took me around 30 minutes from start to finish. Not bad for someone who hasn't used my tablet in almost a month!

These are Expression Studies for one of the characters I've recently worked on.

I had fun playing around with various facial expressions to see if my character can pull off the acting needed for the show. So far, so good!

Here are some Character Design studies I did around December 2010. These are all exploratory sketches and nowhere near the final look of the characters.

This is for a locally-produced, full 3D animated short film that I'm fortunate to be part of.

Hopefully, once we're done with the final film, I could upload it here on my blog for all of you to see.

Just a quick sketch/painting I did using Painter 11.
Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.

It's one of my ways of 'loosening up' my drawing hand.

Thought of 'test driving' the Corel Painter 11 just to get familiar with it's brushes and shortcuts.

Not bad, I think.
